I started Yoga 10 years ago when at age 30 I realised that my body was becoming stiffer and what appeared to be minor injuries were beginning to affect my life. In particular my skiing was suffering which I am passionate about! Over the last 10 years I have developed my Yoga practice (sometimes slowly)! And although I am naturally very stiff I have seen a dramatic improvement in my general health and wellbeing, and my skiing has improved!
I also undertook the teacher training with Linda and Petra and have passed my Base 1 exam in November 2008 and Base 2 in Decmeber 2009. I continue to practice at the Iyengar Institute in Nice and in many studios around the world as I am a long-haul airline pilot.
I will be substituting for Linda and Petra when required and if there is enough interest I would like to set up a men only class to encourage more working men to take up Yoga.
